I can’t wait for H&M’s autumn collection to hit stores (part of the collection is already online though). They have basics, shoes (!) and eye-catching items such as this black and white striped dress for only €4,95! I need to have it!
And Holland’s Next Top Model, Patricia van der Vliet, is starring in the campaign!

I entered one of the HYPEED contests a while back. I knew I got featured but I never saw the magazine until yesterday (I’m slow). I entered for Mixing Prints & Patterns.
They have several contests every month. It’s pretty fun to enter! I hope to see your feature soon!

Is it really? Let’s face it, trends are personal. You like it or you don’t. I must say that I like this hairstyle a little bit (about 2%). I would never have the guts to shave off part of my hair. I don’t even want to cut it let alone shave it off! Kudos to those whom are that brave!
After doing a little bit of research on the web, I found out that David Bowie set the trend in the ’80′s by shaving of his hair partially. I wasn’t born yet so he didn’t set the tone for me. I was introduced to this hairstyle when I saw a photo of singer Cassie. Other celebrities followed after such as Rihanna, Sarah Harding (Girls Aloud), Mel B. and Ammelle (Sugababes).

After the first batch of celebrities this hairstyle became popular on the streets. I keep seeing more and more girls with some kind of form of this style. Some shave half of their hair off and keep their short or long locks. Others shave just a small part of their hair. So it’s really what you want.
But now the million dollar question: would you shave off part of your hair?

My newest addiction is buying shoes. I buy shoes but never wear them. Go figure. Anyway my latest shoe buy, other than the pink broques, are clogs. Again, these babies are from Primark. They were only €23 and they walk pretty comfortable. I can’t wait to wear these with ankle or knee high socks.

I’ve had these photos for a while now so I thought I’d post them already! I love seeing how other people dress, don’t you? I love the purple blazer; I’ll be on the look out for one (or a red one, I’m not sure yet). I have just about every color blazer, my latest buy was a nude one. Stay tuned for that post! Anyway… back to the photos. The studded jeans are great (I really want to DIY), combined with a floral blouse. It gives a raw edge to it.
The silver booties top it all. I think they’re a-ma-zing. I don’t know if I’d dare to wear them though… I probably would!
I’m in love with these looks. I wish had more time to shop. Oh and great news, I’m going to London this weekend! It’s my sister’s birthday and we’re celebrating it over there. We’re going to two malls (Blue Water & Westfield). I’m so excited! So I’m leaving you with this post, I’ll be back on monday!
